Every year during Holi (Dol Purnima), thousands of street animals — especially dogs — suffer silently. People unknowingly apply chemical colours on them out of affection or fun.
But animals lick their fur to clean themselves. Those toxic colours enter their body, leading to:
- Vomiting
- Skin burns
- Blindness
- Organ damage
- Even death
They cannot complain. They cannot understand what happened.
So we must speak for them.
Saarvaatnaam Foundation is launching a public movement todemand awareness and discouragementof applying chemical colours on animals.
